Overview
Harvest House Global Ministries is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Project Manager for Networks and Cryptologic Policies to lead complex technical initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure engineering and institutional governance.
You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network deployment projects while establishing, standardizing, and enforcing rigorous cryptologic policies, encryption standards, and data protection frameworks across all ministry communication channels and data repositories.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery (Networks & Infrastructure)
Project Lifecycle Oversight: Plan, execute, track, and deliver network infrastructure projects (such as LAN/WAN upgrades, secure multi-site VPN deployments, and cloud migration initiatives) on time and within budget.
Resource & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate internal technical teams, external contractors, and hardware/software vendors to ensure seamless alignment on network expansion goals.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project bottlenecks, network vulnerabilities, or timeline delays, establishing proactive mitigation and contingency plans.
2. Cryptologic Policies & Encryption Governance
Policy Development: Author, update, and implement comprehensive cryptologic and cryptographic policies governing data-in-transit and data-at-rest across ministry systems.
Standardization of Encryption Protocols: Define standards for encryption algorithms, key management lifecycles (generation, rotation, destruction), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure that all cryptologic implementations meet institutional compliance standards, data privacy laws, and internal ministry security mandates.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Security Alignment
Collaboration with IT & Security Teams: Partner closely with the IT Manager and cybersecurity personnel to ensure network designs fully incorporate approved cryptologic policies and secure communication protocols.
Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical requirements and security policies into clear, actionable updates for executive leadership and non-technical ministry departments.
Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, architecture maps, and policy manuals; coordinate training for staff regarding secure communication procedures.
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4–6 years of experience managing technical network infrastructure or cybersecurity initiatives.
Technical & Domain Expertise:
Demonstrates ability to guide complex network rollouts and systems upgrades through successful deployment.
In-depth familiarity with cryptographic communication protocols, encryption algorithms (such as AES, TLS, and IPsec), and key lifecycle operations.
Solid grasp of foundational network architecture, defensive security measures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Certifications: Recognized industry credentials such as PMP, CompTIA Project+ CISSP, or CISM are highly preferred.
